A new playground set was installed at the Poplar Schools. The new three story tall structure has features that made some question the safety of the structure. This was built in place of a memorial swing set put up on the playground in memory of Mahogany Rose Youngman, who was killed in a car crash.
The east end second hand store in Poplar has been making some changes. The new owner of the site has a sale outside every Saturday, and now it is being held in this structure.
