Murder suspect in Wolf Point shooting pleads not guilty

First degree murder charges have been filed against the accused killer of a Wolf Point man.

Doratello “DJ” Juan Fischer, 35, appeared in Great Falls Federal Court Wednesday, April 14, 2021. He pled not guilty to first degree murder and using a firearm in the commission of a violent crime. He is currently in custody.

Fischer is accused of shooting Cody Weeks Combs in Wolf Point.

Documents state the incident happened on November 23, 2020.

On the night in question, a shooting was reported on the south side of town.

Combs mother Franny Combs went into Facebook the day after the shooting and put social media posts asking for justice for her son.

If convicted, Fischer faces a mandatory prison sentence of life.
