All fully enrolled adults 19 and older are eligible for an extra $200 in financial assistance.

This is in addition to the annual $125 Christmas per-capita payment to all tribal members.

Applications for the assistance will be available Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Tribal Building in Poplar.

Electronic applications for tribal members off the reservation will be ready by then, according to Sgt. At Arms Bruce Damon.

With inflation driving up prices nation wide, Tribal Executive Board members voted to use funds from the American Relief Project Act (ARPA) to issue the payments.

Again, this is separate from the annual per cap payment.

The regular per cap payment distribution date is Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Poplar Cultural Center from 8 a.m., to 8 p.m. Please bring photo identification and have current custody papers in order for picking up a child’s per cap.
