Two local residents are being detained in Idaho on drug charges.

Emmett Buckles and Tanya Maria Hilliard were arrested in Post Falls, Idaho, on May 19, 2022.

According to a jail roster from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department, Buckles was arrested by the Idaho State Patrol on two charges of possession of a controlled substance (drugs) and is currently sitting on a $50,000 bond.

Hilliard is also being held on several charges that include trafficking of meth or amphetamine and being a fugitive from justice. Her bond is $100,000.

The area of Idaho where they are being held is in the so-called “pan-handle” of the state.
