  • Alfred James “AJ” Iron Bear, Jr., 37, of Poplar

    Alfred IronBear, Jr. (Tȟáȟča Duzahaŋ) “Swift Deer,” died Sunday, September 11, 2022. No cause of death was listed. A funeral was held at the Poplar Cultural Center Friday, September 16, 2022. Burial followed at the Poplar City Cemetery.

  • Shannon Lezard, age 48, of Poplar

    Shannon Erin Lezard, 48, died September 9, 2022 in Poplar. A cause of death was not listed in the obituary. A funeral was held Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Poplar Cultural Center. Internment was at the Chelsea Cemetery.

  • Myra Bullchief-Weston, age 43, of Wolf Point

    Myra Leigh Bullchief-Weston, 43, of Wolf Point died September 2022 in Billings. A cause of death has not been listed. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the New Community Hall. Burial followed the Chelsea Cemetery.

    Brockton elder Lois Longtree, 74, of Brockton passed away September 7, 2022. A cause of death was not listed. Funeral services were held September 7, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Poplar. Internment followed at the Riverside Catholic Cemetery.  

  • Frederick C. Rathert, age 82, of Wolf Point

    Frederick Charles Rathert passed away peacefully on September 8th at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point, Montana, after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease and dementia. A funeral service was Monday, September 12, 2022, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment took place at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.

  • Vera Paulson, age 97, of Glendive, (formerly of Wolf Point)

    Vera Paulson, age 97, passed away on August 23, 2022 at the Eastern Montana Veteran’s Home in Glendive, Montana. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point.

    Jeremy Keiser, 41, of Frazer died August 31, 2022. A cause of death has not been listed. A funeral service was held Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the Pahin Wakpa Baptist Church. Burial followed in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
